Sarah Ironside, Patient Care Coordinator

“It’s amazing to be part of a team that truly cares about delivering the best of the best for their neighbors. And I’m fortunate to work with so many more-than-deserving patients. They motivate me to do what it takes to work through the lengthy process of obtaining insurance coverage to get them the treatment they so desperately need. I cannot wait to see the progress our patients make with the care we have to offer.”

Sarah graduated from the University of Arkansas with degrees in international relations, French, and European studies. Fascinated with healthcare policies and practices, she has worked in medical insurance since 2017. Her work on craniofacial patients’ cases has made Sarah increasingly more passionate about expanding plan policy language and overall insurance coverage mandates for patients with congenital anomalies. This includes contributing to advocacy efforts made by the National Foundation for Ectodermal Dysplasias (NFED), American Cleft Palate Craniofacial Association (ACPA), National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS), National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD), and many others.
